Gorgeous Ohio spring day? Check. 

Beautiful and handsome bride'n'groom? Check. 

Amazing location with rolling hills and rustic barn? Check. 

Not a bad way to start our summer wedding season in May! We had only spoken to Allison & Brian on the phone prior to meeting them on their wedding day. They were such a sweet couple and so easy to work with which made for a wonderful experience. It was also our first time photographing at Rivercrest Farm which boasted one of the most scenic portrait locations we've had. The pictures will speak for themselves. We've been so excited to share these so we hope you enjoy!

Allison was a stunning bride. And such an incredible dress! 

Now that's what we're talking about…

Yes. Their day was this beautiful. Those storm clouds rolled in and heavy rain hit about 20 minutes after we took these portraits but we had enough sunshine to make this magic first...

When the beauty of Ohio combines perfectly with the beauty of a bride it is simply breathtaking.

After Allison & Brian's portraits, it was back to the barn for some final preparations before the ceremony.

Rivercrest Farm had a bunch of animals on the property. This little pup was one of our favorites.

We don't usually post detail shots from our weddings, but this location deserves a few shout outs. 

Plus, this dessert one makes us wish we could reach into our computer and pull it out.

Colleen & Keegan || Engagement Photography || Medina Public Square, Ohio

A recurring theme during most engagement or wedding portrait sessions is that couples will usually say something like "We don't know what we're doing". And to that we always say, "That's perfect! Just enjoy the time together and be yourselves. We'll coach you when needed." Then after a few pointers and several minutes we show a preview to the couple while shooting which generally is met with a "Wow. Is that me? I didn't know I could look like that." To all future and past couples, here's the soapbox for this post… you do look like that! You're fun, in love, beautiful and you look great together. We just happened to take the right photo, at the right time, at the right angle that captured you in the best possible way in that moment. Don't worry. Relax. And just keep swimming. 

Now onto our next models who never thought they would be models, Colleen & Keegan. We enjoyed a fabulous afternoon with these two in Medina Public Square a few weeks ago. All we can say is shazam! Look at these two. Colleen is a totally gorgeous lady and Keegan is a total All-American guy. We've been so excited to share these, so here they are…

So do we need to say again how cute these two are?

Gretchen & Michael || Engagement Photography || Akron, Ohio

We have a fun couple for you this week. You'll quickly realize that Gretchen & Michael had a very difficult time not smiling during their engagement session, which is how it should be! Gretchen's smile and easy-giggle-potential was contagious and we all had a great time together in a beautiful location with perfect spring sunshine. No more intro needed. Onto the good times…

SO excited to see some green back in the trees after this winter...

Like we said, it was an afternoon of giggles and fun...

Every now and then we went for the serious look… which lasted about 10-15 seconds. 

Note to future couples, if you wear cute shoes, we're more likely to photograph them. :o)

No, the rainbow starburst was not added in post.
