Madalyn & Tyler || Ohio Engagement Photography || Peninsula, OH

Well, once again we have found some new competition for the most adorable couple of the year award. This week it's Madalyn & Tyler and their can't-believe-how-incredible-this-day-was engagement session. Seriously. Can't believe it. For starters, they wouldn't stop smiling, laughing, being cute. Plus, Madalyn is gorgeous and Tyler is a stud. And then the sunlight. It was perfect! Golden. Warm. Bright. Suffice it to say, we couldn't stop ourselves from loving every minute of their session and we created what we are sure will become some of our favorite images of the year.

Those eyes! So this is going to be an Anthropology ad, right?

These are completely stunning, Madalyn!

A few ring photos during an outfit change and then we headed deeper into the woods. The lake had this amazing golden glow from the setting sun that lit up the trees from below their dark canopy. It was incredible light to work with… 

We then discovered what appeared to be a 'small' hill that would place us in the perfect position for some sunset portraits. Our 'walk' back to the cars ended up being an additional 30 minute expedition through the woods. But as with most treasures, it was well worth the journey… 

  

We could have posted enough photos from this 10 minutes of perfect light to crash the internet, but we restrained ourselves… 

Stop. My. Heart. Gorgeous.

Don't mind me… 

We could have stayed on that hilltop forever. Or at least until it was too dark to photograph anymore.

Madalyn & Tyler, Thank you for exploring and discovering new possibilities with us. We can't begin to tell you how happy we are with these photos. We LOVE them all! We can't wait for you to see the rest of them soon. You two made our job so easy and we're so excited to see you again for the wedding next summer. Enjoy the photos!

Gina & Joe || Ohio Wedding Photography || Stow, OH

We have been looking forward to Gina & Joe's wedding day all summer. We were excited to work with them again because, well, they're just so stinkin' adorable together and we knew it would be an amazing day, and guess what? IT WAS. (If you missed their engagement session in downtown Kent, check it out here.) The weather couldn't have more perfect and we had the chance to create some amazing sky and sunsets portraits for them, but that's getting ahead of ourselves. More on that later. Another reason we were excited for the day was to see some past brides & grooms we've worked with, including Gina's older sister. It's always fun to see familiar faces and reconnect with past couples that we love. So to get started, here's another incredible summer day beginning with a stunning bride…

Joe was so much fun to watch all day. He had nothing but love in his eyes for Gina.

Do the first dance outside you say? Please and Thank You. We always love having the right light and a few extra minutes to create something different for our couples.

Jamie & Tom were one of our early couples a few years back. It was fun to enjoy their dance moves again… 

And then it was sunset and the day became that much more beautiful. IN LOVE with this…

And FYI, that hair got chopped this week. Back to the pixie cut again for Christy. 

It was a fun experiment while it lasted. 

Fuji x100s got to join the day for a little while. 

Gina & Joe, thank you for trusting us to capture your day and giving us the time to experiment, create and enjoy taking photos of you. We completely loved your wedding and had such a good time with you and your whole bridal party. You guys were wonderful once again and totally adorable together, like we expected. ;o) Thanks for laughing and having a good time with us. We can't wait for you to see all the photos.
