It feels so good to be back in the game after a long winter break! We've enjoyed some time together through the cold months and we've also spent many long hours working on some great new surprises for this photo season. We have some finishes touches to make over this next month and we can't wait to share it all once it's completed. But for now, we have our first engagement session of the year to share with you. Lisa & Tyler were so much fun to work with and were so sweet together. All we had to do was point the camera at them and then try to figure out the next spot to walk to and our job was done. As you can see below, when a couple gives you a great candid within the first two minutes of the session, you know it's going to be a wonderful day…

Lisa & Tyler, We had such a great time with you two and we're so excited for your wedding this fall. We can't wait to spend another day laughing with you and enjoying our work as much as we did this day. Hope you love these early previews. Can't wait for you to see the rest of them. Enjoy!

Wedding Photography || Best of 2015 || Moments

This week we are sharing some of our favorite moments of 2015. For us, these types of photos always represent the core of a wedding day. These are the in-between moments. The times you forget everyone around and see only the person standing in front of you. The smiles and the tears. The laughter when you didn't know a camera was watching you. The times when you let your guard down and are 100% yourself. These are the memories we want to capture and preserve in a photo so the emotions can be experienced time and again for years to come. These are the times when we step back into the shadows and find the moments that truly capture the love and joy of a wedding day. We want you to remember yourself as you are. It's your love, your day, your relationships. This is why we photograph people and not things. This is why we love our job… 

We feel so blessed and honored to have worked with so many amazing couples in 2015! We couldn't create what we do without all of you. We can't wait to start 2016 and do it all over again with a new look, new website and new blog. So many great changes coming and we're so excited to share them with you soon!
