Sarah & Ravi || Anniversary Session || Ohio Portrait Photography

We've had the pleasure of knowing Sarah & Ravi for a little while now. Ravi was a groomsman at one of our November weddings last year. After watching him and his new bride break out some moves on the dance floor, we knew instantly that they'd be a great couple to photograph. So when they came to us asking about a session for their first anniversary, we were thrilled! You'll soon see why. There's a comfort and closeness that married couples have with each other that can't be matched, especially when a camera is involved. Sarah & Ravi definitely have a special comfort with each other and were a total pleasure to work with. And now, one our new entries for cutest couple of the year…

Aaaaaaannndd… BOOM. Love this!

And the cutest award goes to…

As you can guess, we did a lot of laughing during this session.

Maybe a little parking garage + sunlight action. Simply stunning, Sarah.

One of our favorites. Love the intimacy in this image.

Christy doing her thing…

Why not glam it up with some totally on-brand lipstick. Cutie.

Just checking the light and exposure with my favorite subject.

Sarah & Ravi, you two were fantastic to work with and we hope to do it again someday. Thanks for wandering around the city and creating something special with us. We wish you two all the best in your next year of marriage and all the ones after that.

Briana & Devin || Ohio Wedding Photography

We enjoyed Briana & Devin so much during their engagement session and couldn't wait to see them again for their wedding. Just in case you forgot who this adorable couple was…

We're pleased to announce that they continue to be just as cute, giggly, adorable and fun. So here they are on one of the happiest days of their life… a fact you can actually see in their faces, which we love. :o)

And so, the little girl dreams of being a bride become reality…

Meanwhile, Devin was using a pen to pour his heart onto paper for Briana…

The flower girl kept peeking around the corner at Briana.

These two had stolen the show until the bride entered the room.

Didn't we say it was a happy day?

Congrats from the brother…

Then we were off to the McKinley Monument for portraits. Love the grey, green and pink!

Now that's a cute group of ladies!

We always enjoy the goofy/crazy photos because this always happens right after…

And then it was time for Briana & Devin. Hello, beautiful summer sunlight! We love you.

We have so many gorgeous ones of Briana. It was difficult to choose just a few. :o)
Also, love those bright pink lips!

Love this one. It says so much about them.

We did say they were adorable and fun, right?

Messy hair. Don't care. The wind was really blowing Briana's veil around so we took it off for a few. (Christy found a good place to keep it, but more on that later.) Then we told her not to fix her hair when this happened. Love it.

The light was so incredible that day that we had to force ourselves to stop shooting.

Eventually we made it to the reception so the party could begin. Nothing like a chest bump entrance to get things started.

The father-daughter dance turned into something unexpected…

This little man was helping us take photos with his phone camera. He was so impressed with his art that he even wowed the grandparents.

We can't remember ever seeing air guitar before the garter event, but we loved it!

And why not a professional pitch instead of the usual over-the-shoulder…

So I guess you get the idea. They were a fun couple.

Now a few of us enjoying a great day…

Christy didn't wear a veil for our wedding day, so I think she secretly really enjoyed wearing Briana's for a little while.

I've always wanted a photo of my flash firing, and here it is. It's like the explosion of the Death Star. Nice one, Christy. Thanks for fulfilling my geek needs.

But when I'm not using my expensive gear, I'm always happy to put my professional Instagramming skills to work for a family photo. Seriously, I'd shoot a wedding with my iPhone if there was someone crazy enough to let me try.

Briana & Devin, I can't say enough how much fun you two were to work with. You are so sweet and kind and we truly enjoyed spending the day with you. You are so great for each other and it's so easy to see. Don't lose that fun part of your relationship because that's a key fallback during those tough moments of marriage. :o) You're off to a good start. And that's my two cents for now. Thanks again. We hope you love the photos!
