Katie & Clay were such a fun couple to work with and stayed happy go lucky all day even with the steady rain throughout most of the afternoon. The weather couldn't detract from the happiness that Katie & Clay overflowed with, because really, who wouldn't be happy on their wedding day! They were troopers and their bridal party were fantastic and were up for anything so we pulled out the umbrellas and had a great time from start to finish. So here's another beautiful day for you starting with one of our favorite bride-sister-mother photos…

Katie & Clay's reception was at the Tool Shed at Breitenbach Vineyards. We didn't know what to expect with a 'tool shed' but this place was seriously gorgeous and such a perfect location for rainy weather because it had huge patios and covered areas around the building which kept us outside for portraits (our favorite place!).

Emily & Kevin || Stan Hywet Wedding Photography || Akron, OH

We haven't photographed a wedding at Stan Hywet Hall & Gardens since last summer and we couldn't wait to go back for Emily & Kevin's big day. The thunderstorms on Friday looked like they might hang around for the weekend, but we ended up with an incredibly beautiful and sunny Saturday afternoon. And oh, what a day it was. We can't even begin to tell you how gorgeous Emily looked, or how incredible the flowers were, or how much fun the bridal party was, or how adorable the flower girls were, so when words fail, we show photos. Lots of photos. And so begins the wonderful wedding day… 

Add this to the list of favorite exit photos ever… 

We can't get over how incredibly stunning Emily looked. This tree path is such a perfect backdrop for her elegant and delicate gown. This is definitely a black & white favorite for us… 

We love Stan Hywet because every single location is an amazing location to photograph…
