Are you ready for a super sweet and great looking couple who also just happen to have one of the craziest and fun bridal parties we've ever photographed? Well, meet Sarah & Alex. Think of PB&J and you'll have an idea of how well these two go together. The bonus of the day was having extra portrait time with them to wander through the streets of Downtown Kent looking for locations to shoot. We started at the Water Street Tavern where they had their first "date but not a date". It also happens to be where we fell in love with this incredible brick wall during their portraits. Oh you'll see. More on that to come. Here's how their day started…
Brothers talking about how not to lose the rings...
We just posted this picture in color on Facebook and love it both ways. Perfect example of how we always try to take detail shots within the context of the day.
1. 2. 3. And you're married!
The little guy on the left looks pretty impressed with everyone's bubble blowing skills...
Like we said, totally cool group (as well as wild and fun)...

We're in LOVE with this one, Sarah. So classically stunning...
So here's the brick wall we're raving about. Totally great texture and color, right? And then you take a couple like Sarah & Alex and put them in front of it and Bada Boom, Bada Bing… MAGIC. One of our favorites from the day.
We headed back out onto the streets to explore more of Kent...
We loved how much extra time Sarah & Alex left in their schedule for us because it allowed us to explore and experiment which usually results in more variety and original art work. This is during our 20 second ride in the parking garage elevator. We noticed some great reflections so we went with the flow. We're always looking for anything interesting when we're taking portraits. Nothing is off limits. If we see it, and we like it, then we shoot it. Shazam!
And this is why we love parking garages...
Another favorite from the day...

Then it was off to the reception for a night of fun, along with some emotional speeches...
This is a shout-out to the Mother of the Groom who was asking for more photos. ;o)
And some of us enjoying the day…
And this is the working mode face. This photo is only on here because the shirt looks so good.
Alex helping us get some natural smiles and laughter from Sarah. You were a good assistant, Alex.
We always say something about how much fun we've had with our couples and how great they were to work with, but that's because IT'S TRUE. We had such a great start to our summer wedding season and this wedding was no exception. You guys were so sweet together and so affectionate all day which made our job so enjoyable and fun. We had a great time exploring Kent with you and absolutely loved going through all your photos from the day. We hope you love them!
Like always, please share, comment and pin the photos you love!
