Mary & Matt || Ohio Engagement Photography || Olmsted Falls, OH

Mary & Matt couldn't have had a more beautiful fall day for their engagement session. (Sorry to show you this now to make you crave those warmer days again.) We met them in Olmsted Falls at the River Park which also included the other 1000 photographers trying to squeeze in photos while the leaves were perfect. And as you'll see, it was just that… 

Perfection.

So sweet. Love their hands in this one.

Mary actually picked Matt up first, but this one seemed slightly more romantic. ;o) And we LOVE how it looks in black&white. Definitely a favorite.

OK, we love it in color too. Also another favorite.

Didn't we say it was a beautiful and perfect day?

Then it was time for a few stunning portraits of Mary. 

We were already loving Mary's choice of shirt, THEN we walked down by the river and holy smokes, it was just perfect with the water color and texture.

Proof that our couples actually look at the camera every now and then. :o) 

This river didn't look like anything special until we were almost finished and walking back to the car and then we noticed what had happened during an hour of shooting. The entire river and tunnel of trees just glowed with the fading afternoon sun. It was stunning and we hope we captured it well. This needs to be printed big. We're talking BIG.

Can't have a fall photography session without lying in some leaves. 

Mary has such gorgeous eyes. 

Couldn't resist this reflection shot. One of our favorite ones yet. OK, it was my mine. Christy suggested inverting it though so it was a team effort.

The photographer's perspective.

This is the point during the session where we say, "we won't lose it". (Which we never have, just FYI. But if we ever did, at least there'd be some great pictures of it, am I right?)

Mary & Matt, we're so thrilled that we were able enjoy such an incredible day with you two. You were a pleasure to work with and we're so happy with the gorgeous photos we created together with you. We hope you love them even more than we do. Can't wait for your wedding next summer!
