Sarah's daughter arrived and stole the show.

Then it was off to Conrad Botzum Farm for the wedding…
We were threatened by moody clouds all afternoon but never felt a drop.
They had such a fun bridal party!
The clouds really added to the amazing landscape that afternoon.
As we took these portraits of Sarah, we couldn't stop ourselves from previewing each one on our camera because even on that tiny screen we could tell they were going to be incredible. These are some of our favorites from the entire day…

We couldn't pass up getting a few photos with the hay bales and quilts…
This epic bouquet toss involved one of the biggest flower explosions that we've ever seen. Jessi was the undeniable winner in the end, most likely aided by her natural height and 4 inch heels. I know there are people waiting to see this in a step-by-step playback mode, so here it is folks… you be the judge.
Sarah is a co-worker and fellow PICU nurse, so it was really fun to spend the day with her outside of work, as well as some our other hospital pals. And let me just say now, nurses be crazy on the dance floor!

This is how incredibly intimate and gorgeous portraits are made, in an open field right next to the guests enjoying cocktail hour. We love that our style and method of working allows for couples to focus on each other which helps keep distractions to a minimal even when we have to be in such a visible location sometimes. Sarah & Michael rocked it and we couldn't be happier with the portraits we created with them.
What's a man to do when he gets mobbed by a group of women? Take a #selfie of course. :o)
