Leah & Eric || Ohio Wedding Photography || Akron, OH

We know it's common for us to say that our couples are "so much fun", because they are, but Leah & Eric brought that phrase to a whole new level! Their entire bridal party was insanely fun too, which you'll see here soon. It was a chilly October day, but the laughter and spunk from this group kept coming with no end in site. It was incredible to experience a wedding day with so much energy and love from all the friends and family. We're excited to live this one over again with all of you…

What are brothers for?

'Congratulations E-Rock October 4, 2014'

Great job with the birdcage veil, Leah. ;o)

Leah and the bridesmaids finished their preparations in The Old Town Hall in Tallmadge Circle. It was a beautiful room with nice big windows, which we always love.

Love this one, Leah!

We then made our way over to the Historic Tallmadge Church.

Just so you appreciate how good this photo is, that's the groom, his brother and both mothers as the bride begins to walk down the aisle. Boom!

We always love capturing the moments right after the ceremony.

Married!!! And now the party can begin!

It seemed like every single person at the wedding was either a talented musician, actor or vocalist, including Leah & Eric. The ceremony was filled with some of the most beautiful live music that we've ever experienced during a wedding. So when it came to the exit, what were they to do. Rice? Birdseed? Bubbles? Not for Leah & Eric. How about a full band playing 'You Are My Sunshine' in the style of the New Orleans 2nd Line March!!!

Eric leading the march with his soprano saxophone. This was one of the most fun exits ever, of all time, to infinity.

Didn't we say this group was crazily fun!!! That's right. I made up that word just for them.

This photo says everything you need to know about this group. Love it!!!

By this point, the day was getting late, the light was fading and it was chilly. OK. It was downright cold. Leah & Eric just smiled and enjoyed the time together during their portraits. And when there's not a parking garage to climb to the top of, our next favorite place is a gritty alleyway with great brick and tunneled light. This first one is just stunning, Leah. :o)

A favorite. Love the lines and the light. We love mixing elegant and gritty subjects.

And then it was off to the one of the most fun receptions we've ever photographed. Don't let the cutesy cake topper fool you. These people were a full tank of wild energy and then some. :o)

We love how much energy colorful and bright DJ lights add to receptions, especially with how we shoot the dancing. These kids were fans of them too.

Future brides/grooms take note. This is a great idea for the reception. Have a friend walk around with a polaroid camera to get active 'photo booth' type photos for people. Here's a link to the Fujifilm Instax mini 8 to get you started. That's how into this idea I am. Not to force you or anything. Just a suggestion. Do it!

These guys were SO MUCH FUN. Love the energy in these two photos. Christy's non-flashed one is above. My flashed one is below.

And a few of us…

One of the bridesmaids left her selfie camera on, so what was I to do but take a selfie.

Was this kid breakdancing? Or just hypnotized by the lights?

Special sidenote: This day was our 11th Anniversary. Hooray for us! The DJ was kind enough to snag a picture of us to commemorate the day. We have been so blessed and we hope all our couples enjoy the same amount of joy, excitement, adventure and love that we've shared these 11 years. It's such a thrill to work along side someone I love. And she's still cute after 10 hours of running around photographing too! :o)

Leah & Eric, I think it goes without saying, but I will anyway… We LOVED your day and had such a great time with you guys. We hope these photos make you laugh all over again as you experience the tears and joy of your amazing day. Best wishes to you both!
