Earline & Ron || Ohio Wedding Photography || Kent, OH

Here we go again… Another extra long blog post due to our inability to restrain ourselves while choosing our favorite photos to share with you. And believe me, this could have been waaaaaaay longer. When we have a bride & groom like Earline & Ron, how can we not adore them and want to share every single photo we take! Just take a look and you'll know what I'm talking about. Here they are…

'GLAM' and M.A.C. Makeup tattoos. That's true dedication to your profession.

Earline is a cross-fit type of gal. So naturally she chose the perfect form fitting wedding dress for herself. She looked absolutely stunning in it, but you'll see that in a minute.

Moms and daughters on wedding days. We love these moments.

Earline's dress was definitely worth the effort of trying to get into it. This photo makes us smile. :o)

Meanwhile… The guys were doing what guys do.

Now that's a beautiful group of ladies…

Was I right about the dress being perfect for her? The answer is HECK YES.
So gorgeous, Earline!

Not too shabby for a group of guys. We always love a grey tux.

This little man stole the show at the beginning of the ceremony. He had so many stairs to climb down and performed his job like a trooper thanks to the helping hand of that beautiful little lady.

Love their faces in this one…

OK, we love this one too…

Earline & Ron's wedding was at The Overlook at The Fairways at Twin Lakes. As you can easily see, it was an incredible location and a beautiful August day for an outdoor ceremony. Definitely one of our new favorite venues.

Earline read a letter to Ron and I'm sure there wasn't a dry eye in the crowd or up front…

They went down the stairs single and walked up as a married couple!

This is the flower girl helping wrangle the ring bearer during photos…

Such a fun and cute group!

I honestly couldn't choose which one I liked more so you get to see both. Maybe I should have added the other one too?

I haven't mentioned it yet, but Earline is a PICU nurse and works with me (Eric) at our local children's hospital. It was fun to work so closely with a fellow nurse outside of our usual job. And I guess I'll mention here that Ron is also a cross-fit type of guy. He's also a firefighter. Sooooo, if you're ever in a life-threatening situation or any type of disaster zone, Earline & Ron are the couple that you want to be friends with. ;o)

We posted this photo on Facebook and someone commented that it looked like a scene from Downton Abbey. Sure, we'll take that compliment. :o)

The light was so incredible all afternoon. We were in natural-light-photography heaven.

Since we were on the golf course…

All three toasts were super entertaining and/or emotional…

Earline's Dad post-speech. As you can see from Ron's face it was a good one.

This is where I'll mention that Christy & I are foodies, as are Earline & Ron. I'll also mention that their wedding food was some of the best we've ever seen and/or tasted at a reception. The appetizer below is the first meal that Ron ever made for Earline.

What's this you ask? Oh, just some spicy tuna before the main course is served. The fact that we're actually posting photos of food on our blog (something we never do) should give you an idea of how fabulous it was.

And then it was dancing time…

One of The Overlook servers told us that Earline & Ron's reception was one of the most energetic and fun groups they had ever seen. Proof that you can still have a rowdy dance party after an elegant 5-course dinner. Here's just a glimpse of the party. It was wild chaos all night!

A quiet minute of romance between the chaos. We love finding these moments at every wedding.

And a few of us enjoying the day…

This is the result of me experimenting while Christy set them up for her shot.

The making of a macro ring shot…

Hanging out for a minute with my fellow nurse.

Earline & Ron, seriously, truly, honestly, we can't tell you enough how much we enjoyed your day. It was perfectly beautiful and we were so happy to be there with you and capture it for you. We hope you love these preview photos. Tons more coming your way soon.

Thanks for visiting our blog!
