Brittany & John || Wedding Photography || Ashland & Wooster, Ohio

We are so so so excited to share this wedding with you all! We have known Brittany & John for several years now and have become close friends in that time. It has been amazing to watch their friendship grow into a marriage and we were so honored to be a part of their wedding day. Not only are they both so stinkin' cute and completely adorable together, but they are totally in love with each other which is something that can never be created in a photo. From ceremony, to freezing cold portraits, to low-light dancing shots, it was in our photos. And we'll take this chance to say… cold weather? Who cares. If the bride and groom are excited and willing to have some fun, then we absolutely don't mind cold weather because it makes for such intimate and romantic photos. Oh, you'll see…

Brittany and her mother getting ready...

Did you find Christy the ninja?

John's a VW guy. As you can see, so are a few of his groomsmen.

Brittany's father was so excited. He even snapped a few iPhone photos of her right before they walked down the aisle.

iPhone shot. Done!

Now that you're MARRIED we'll attack you with bird seed! Love your faces!!!

John's older sister was a phone ninja all day. Interviews, photos, videos. We never saw it out of her hand… (So based on that, we'd probably be good friends.)

We headed over to the College of Wooster for some portraits before the ceremony. It was beautiful still. One week after this all the leaves were down. Nice timing Brit & John!

We gave the bridal party 10 seconds to come up with their own pose. Not bad!

Such beautiful ladies...

Such silly groomsmen. We have to be fair to John here and say that he wasn't allowed to throw his bouquet, but his face sure makes up for his lack of throw. We concluded that Brittany's brother on the right won because of his height. Hand height is directly proportional to bouquet tossing height.

We'll just say BLONDE BOMBSHELL...

The classic portrait. (Yes, we do that too.)

We LOVE this one of you guys. See??? Lovebirds + cold weather = super romantic.

Bada boom bada BLING!

Christy's view...

Eric's view...

We always love a bride who is willing to lie in the grass. One of our favorites...

This was at the end of our portrait session and we literally had NO light left. The sky was changing colors by the minute and it was freezing cold and windy. We love a good challenge and this is what we got. Kapow! We pride ourselves in creating photos that look exactly like the moment looked and more importantly, photos that make you feel how the moment felt. We wants the facts of the moment as well as the emotion. This photo says everything you need to know about the moment...

And then it was party time...

Love this one of the parents...

The reception was so luminous. Low-light dancing. Bring it on!

John's sister getting some great videos...

Brittany & John, we love you guys and can't wait to see you enjoy your new marriage. We really enjoyed being with you guys and meeting your wonderful families and friends on your wedding day. We hope you love the photos! So many more coming to you soon.

Like always, please comment, share and pin the photos you love!

And a few of us…

Once again, my boutonniere pinning skills come in handy for the Father of the Groom...

Christy always smiles when she's taking great portraits...

My poor flash must have felt sorely underused that night. I liked the images without it better.
