Allie || Senior Portrait Photography || Grad Session || Canton, Ohio

Senior pictures are a right of passage, a milestone, and also one of the most awkward things that students have to do during high school. Enter Eric and Christy. We love photographing grads because it's a change of pace for us, we get to meet some great young people, and we get challenged and inspired in new ways each time. We wander around a lot, experiment a bunch, and really try to stretch our skills with available light. We're always happy to have a subject willing to let us take the time to give them something different and new while still hitting those classic senior poses in a fresh way. This time we had the pleasure of working with Allie for her senior pictures and she was totally up to the challenge. She was a stunning subject and very comfortable in front of the camera and we couldn't have been more pleased with the final results…

We love how Allie's eyes are the first thing you notice in this one.

Love this black&white. There's those incredible eyes again…

Couldn't decide which one of these to post so we did both. :o)

Another outfit change and then we headed to downtown Canal Fulton for some final amazing portraits…

It was a super bright sunny day and instead of shooting backlit the whole time we decided to shake things up from our usual style and go for some full front lit poses and we loved the results. Lesson to photographers: Do not fear the sunlight. Embrace it.

And a few of us enjoying the day…

Gotta see things from a different angle sometimes.

The cutest exposure test subject.
